My favourite dialogue_ Bajirao ne Mastani se mohabbat ki hai ayashi nhi

Bajirao Mastani is a 2015 Indian epichystrical romance film directed by Sanjay leela Bhanshali. The film begins with Bajirao (Ranveer Singh) being titled ‘Peshwa’ as he leads the Marathas into battle against the Mughal Raj. Fierce to a fault, Bajirao demonstrates his acumen in wielding a sword and devising war strategy on multiple occasions. This ensures consecutive victories in battles, and in one, he also wins the heart of the Princess of Bundelkhand, Mastani (Deepika Padukone). Even though Bajirao is married to Kashibai (a domesticated Priyanka Chopra), impressed by Mastani’s antics in battle, he gifts her his prized combat knife. This innocuous gesture is symbolic of holy matrimony in Bundelkhand and Mastani decides to follow the Peshwa to Poona. Her unannounced arrival in Shaniwar Wada (the Peshwa’s fortress) results in much unpleasantness as Radhabai, Bajirao’s widowed mother (an intimidating bald Tanvi Azmi) wrecks havoc on her. The film takes a dark turn as Mastani is dragged through a series of attacks and forced to face much humiliation. While Kashibai doesn’t accept her husband’s second wife, the family also deals with opposition from Brahmin pundits who find the Peshwa’s Muslim bride to be little short of blasphemous. The film builds up to a visually compelling and emotionally demanding climax as this tale of forbidden love.

Straight away, Bajirao Mastani is Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s most gorgeous – and most political – movie. Peshwa Bajirao (Ranveer) stretches the Maratha empire across 18th century India, fighting Mughals and rivals for Chhattrapati Shahu (Mahesh). Suddenly, Bundelkhand requests protection, Bajirao approached by its half-Muslim princess Mastani (Deepika). The director handles his performers with similar sensitivity and intelligence, and all three offer real star turns, thereby avoiding fading into some singularly lavish scenery. Mastani (Deepika Padukone) , a Mughal Alex Forrest, displays a steely determination in the face of her hosts’ contempt that proves oddly ennobling. Kashibai ( Priyanka Chopra) never allows Kashi to become an afterthought: those eyes register a wife’s hurt every bit as vividly as they have happiness elsewhere. And Ranveer Singh’s bullet-headed Bajirao, forever charging into uncharted physical and emotional terrain, marks another fine showing from one of Bollywood’s most versatile leads: we spot exactly why this bad boy commands the loyalty, even lust he does.

Excellent movie, amazing sets, brilliant cinematography, classic songs with classic cinematography, wonderful work by all actors LIKE Priyanka Chopra has done amazing work, Deepika Padukone has also done amazing job as Mastani and Ranveer Singh rocked the stage as Bajirao with his acting.
